Just So You Know...
that I am not doing nothing (and Yes, that does appear to be a double negative), I finished another Clapotis. Just like the last one only a different colorway. I love the Clap, but they KILL me to make. They take forever and well, quite honestly, I get bored. Abby loves it, but it's not for her. My mom expressed an interest, we'll see if she was sincere, 'cause, ya know, she loves everything I make - isn't that great? I have been very busy with some work stuff and some PTA stuff and some graduation stuff and some trip-out-of-town planning stuff and well, I suppose blogging has taken a back seat and it does bother me, just not enough to drop everything and let y'all know (both of you) what boring and geekish thing I am up to now, but I do miss y'all. I haven't even kept up with my blog reading. I have discovered Twitter, though and I have to say that if you aren't on Twitter, well, you just aren't geeky enough. Actually, some people, like my oldest, Kandis, they are actually better at twittering than blogging. I don't mean to say she isn't a good blogger, but Twitter, with it's 140 character post limitation and the randomness of it in general is really better for some blogger styles. Kandis is great at Twittering because she has these great moments where she can blurt out her witty, caustic tweets
to the Twittersphere and it just seems appropriate - and timely. And no formatting and the only thing you need to remember is "say it in 140 characters". Oh, and use tinyurl for links, cuz the url counts for characters. Me, I end up reading a lot of tweets and responding to some, I don't have that instant genius thing going for me. But I still read Twitter obsessively.
Anyway, that's what I've been doing. How 'bout y'all?

LOVE that Clapotis... and Abby is adorable wearing it.
I've been playing with my camera and learning how to play with my pictures... and waiting for spring. Honestly, three days in a row at 60F or above isn't asking too much for April-into-May, is it?

I saw Abby's picture over on Ravelry last night, so I knew you weren't not doing anything. Does that make sense? Plus I know you're always busy. Not one of those like me that can successfully accomplish almost nothing for the whole day.
Maybe we need a happy medium.

Well, at least I can read your blog to see what you've been up to! I swear it's been months since I last sat with you. :) The clapotis looks great!

That is a beautiful Clap!
I am so glad you said you get bored with them! Everyone says how fun they are and mine is just dragging because I'm bored with it too!!

Well, I learn something everytime I read your blog! I have never heard ot Twitter, so I'm going to check it out. I love your Clap, and not having made one yet, I can still appreciate you pressing to get it finished, despite the laborious stitch pattern. Take care!

Your pretty new clap makes me want to finally knit mine with the yarn that matches yours. Hmmm... maybe I'll cast on tonight. I need something that doesn't require a pattern for most of it.

Well, it's not just me huh? I know I ebb and flow on the blogging thing, so I afford all others that same luxury.
But damn woman, you're really productive in your non-blogging time (aka "real life")! Love the cookie dress - very flattering, feminine and yet business like. And of course Clapotis is lovely, as is its model.
Enjoy all your family celebrations and share when you can. Me? I'll get there soon since even my mom was complaining I've not blogged (I said "fyi mom, you *can* call me directly!") Finally, Happy Birthday to that grandbaby! Seems like yesterday ...
